This site actually has many purposes.
Archives
You may have noticed this site has posts going back to June 2007. Since the original announcement about Antioch College’s suspension and closure there have been many smaller sites started and then replaced by newer sites. Instead of deleting the content on these old sites they have found a home here on this site. Thus this site is in many ways part of the archive of the effort to ‘Save Antioch’.
We’ve been asked more than once to get rid of this site and to only ‘look forward’ re: the bright future of the ‘new’ Antioch College. Sorry, no. We don’t believe in censoring history and plan to keep this site up for as long as we can, in fact, everytime someone asks that we shut this down it makes us that much more certain it should stay up!
Aggregator
These days this site is an aggregator of RSS feeds from every Antioch College related website we could find. When any new content is posted to any of these sites a copy is posted here with a link back to it’s original source. Our posts always link to the site they came from, we’re not stealing others content, just organizing it here and curating it all in one place. A list of the dozen or so sites we pull content from is included under the ‘Contributors’ heading in the side-column to the right. Also, all our posts here are posted on our twitter account @antiochnews
