As we begin again to rethink higher education, Antioch College is proud
to introduce the first Arthur E. Morgan Fellows. They will be
instrumental in setting a strong course of the newly independent
College. The Fellow’s are accomplished in their fields and bring
skills and perspectives that are invaluable as we go forward with this
monumental effort.

Obituary: Robert Siegel ’49
Date: 10/7/2009
Bob Siegel began Antioch in 1942. His time there was interrupted by
his service in WWII as an ensign in command of an LCT in the Pacific.
He originally intended to major in architecture but upon returning to
Antioch he majored in political science graduating in 1949. He enjoyed
his coop jobs. One coop job, the NLRB in New Orleans, influence his
decision to become a lawyer so that following graduation from Antioch
in 1948 he attended Yale Law School. He then married Norma Kaiden
Siegel (Antioch class of 1948)
