Antiochians Celebrate Agreement for Independent Antioch College

As the rest of the country gears up for the July 4th holiday, the word independence means something quite different for alumni, students, friends, former faculty, staff and supporters of Antioch College this week. On Tuesday June 30th at 12pm, the Great Lakes Collegiate Association released the news that the boards of Antioch University and the Antioch College Continuation Corporation (ACCC) each unanimously voted in favor of a set of definitive agreements for the creation of an independent college in Yellow Springs, Ohio, including the transfer of the campus and endowment.

GLCA announces Historic Agreement for Independent Antioch College

Ann Arbor, MI–With support from the Great Lakes Colleges Association (GLCA), the boards of Antioch University and the Antioch College Continuation Corporation (ACCC) each unanimously voted in favor of a set of definitive agreements for the creation of an independent college in Yellow Springs, Ohio, including the transfer of the campus and endowment. Once all conditions are met, the transfer will occur in late summer.
