The Winning Victories through Debate project comes from Antioch’s award-winning Speech & Debate Team, which believes that the transformative opportunity to participate in debate should be open to all Antioch students and don’t want it to become a “pay-to-play” activity. The project’s goal is to ensure that the team will have the resources to continue to practice for, and win, victories, both at debate tournaments around the nation during a lifetime of activism after graduation. The project would use the $5,000 to pay for tournament fees, travel, transportation and training.
