Date: 4/16/2009
Here is the third installment in “Pioneering Days – Dispatches from our past” a serial offering courtesy of Scott Sanders (of Antiochiana) and the CRF’s own Steve Duffy ‘77.  Each week we bring you sections of the story Pioneering Days at Antioch, by Lucy Griscom Morgan, the story of a freshly re-opened Antioch College.  Lucy was the second wife of Arthur Morgan, Antioch’s 11th president, whose early involvement is documented herein by Lucy.  In 1947 the publication went for fifty cents.  If you missed the first or seconded installments you can read them hereand here respectively.

Duffy prefaces this third installment with a message on the text:
“As the Glen approaches the season for mayapples and everything else…and the Maywalk…this is quite appropriate reading.”
