The mood at the Greene County Probate Court in lovely Xenia, Ohio, was
friendly today as lawyers for the Antioch College Continuation
Corporation (ACCC) and Antioch University addressed a brief filed with
the Court by Antioch University. Judge Robert A Hagler reviewed a plan
to transfer endowment funds worth approximately $20 million from the
University to the “Continuation Fund, inc.” a non-profit that will
support Antioch College under its new Board.

Wendy Ewald ‘74 Focuses Her Lens on the World, Co-op Education

Wendy Ewald has collaborated with children and adults around the world, working in communities in Labrador, Appalachia, Colombia, India, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Holland, Mexico, Canada, North Carolina, and New York. She encourages her students to use cameras to create individual self-portraits and portraits of their communities and to articulate their dreams and hopes while working with her in visual and verbal collaboration.
2009 Work Project Shaping Up to be a Great Success

With the news of Independence still ringing in the ears of Antiochians
nationwide, it’s no surprise that there is eager interest in the 2009
Reunion and the pre-Reunion Work Project. For a week before the
Reunion officially begins on October 4, Alumni from many generations
will descend on campus and engage in a variety of work projects to help
restore the campus and prepare for reunion.
Miami Valley Chapter Meeting

Dayton Chapter of the Antioch Alumni Association will hold a Chapter Meeting to explore the many ways in which we will help the Independent Antioch College achieve it’s potential. Protempore Chair Lee Morgan will update us, and provide input towards optimizing our efforts to meet the needs of this valuable endeavor.

Bay Area Alumni,
We’re getting VERY close to the final deal for an independent Antioch College,
which is scheduled to take place August 31st (the negotiations are going well).
The Alumni Reunion will start October 2nd and the theme is Out of the Twilight
Zone (or something close to that), celebrating 50 years of the Twilight Zone
and our emergence from Antioch’s
