The Glen Helen nature preserve, which serves as a habitat
for native species, an educational site for regional kids, a raptor
rehabilitation center, a draw for the local tourism economy, and a treasure for
hikers and nature enthusiasts, received an anonymous gift to the tune of
$250,000 on Feb. 10.
