Cynthia Riggs, a thirteenth-generation Islander, lives on Martha’s Vineyard in her family homestead, now a bed-and-breakfast catering to poets and writers. She has a degree in geology from Antioch College, an MFA in creative writing from Vermont College, and holds a U.S. Coast Guard Masters License (100-ton). Cynthia is the author of the best-selling Martha’s Vineyard mystery series featuring detective Victoria Trumbull.

Obituary: Dick Knight ’54

KNIGHT, Richard (Dick) Lawrence – Died peacefully, on April 21, 2008,
at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge, in his 77th year.
Dick was predeceased by both his parents, Victor and Nancy Knight; his
sister, Judi Wilson and also by his wife, Sylvia Dewey Knight, Antioch
College class of 1960.
